This property was likely very beautiful many years ago when it first opened and the highlight photos were taken but it has clearly been neglected for some time. Neither the rooms nor the property were as clean and sufficiently stocked with necessities as I would expect. The beds were not comfortable, WiFi was spotty, and linens seemed old and lacking freshness. The only upsides were the ac worked well and the few staff members we encountered tried to be helpful. If you do still decide to stay here and you want to order food for children, do not order the pizza. You will be disappointed. Other food options were okay. Thankfully, we only stayed one night. My family and I were very disappointed so I want to make sure future Expedia users know what they’re getting into. Expedia should require property hosts to post photos within the last year or two.

Beautiful beach, but poor service The resort is nice, although it could use some maintenance and updating. My room was comfortable and well equipped. The AC stopped working on the second day, but it was fixed quickly and I had no further issues. The pools are nice, but the best part is definitely the beach: beautiful, very clean, no sargassum, and plenty of lounge chairs under the palm trees. The food was OK—not amazing, but not bad either. The biggest downside is the service. Only a few employees were friendly and attentive; most seemed to ignore guests. The buffet was by far the worst in terms of service. With better customer service, this could be a very good resort.

It’s a bait and switch the address is not where the location is and the rooms shown are not available. It’s still under construction and has regular black outs. Next to a cemetery. Do not stay here pictures not as shown. AGAIN DO NOT STAY HERE BAIT AND SWITCH NOT AS ADVERTISE. And Expedia nor the hotel will compensate.

Propiedad muy limpia, personal super atento, el hotel no es muy grande pero tiene lo que necesitas para una buena estadía, la comida muy buena aunque con poca variedad.

I have stayed at a few Bahia Príncipe hotels over the years. This wasn’t the best one I have ever been to but overall it was a pleasant experience. Bahia Príncipe always does a good job. The resort is a little small compared to others. And beach wasn’t as beautiful as other beaches nearby in La Romana. But the pools were clean and enjoyable. The food was decent and the staff were friendly and helpful.
