I had chosen this property because of its proximity to Santo Domingo airport. I did not want to drive too far into the country. The property appears to offer what I need for a short vacation. First, I specifically chose a room with beach view and a king size bed. I was sent in a double bed without any explanation, Second, I woke up overnight to find the floor and the walls wet. I almost fell several times. TV did not work until I called to complain. I fell asleep and the main restaurant was closed. I was referred to a snack bar. The food was terrible, except the pizza that appeared to be fresh. This morning, I used one of the bath towels to avoid another fall because the floor of the room was very wet. we did not enjoy our stay as expected. I will not return.

My stay at this hotel was a good experience. The room is decent. Could use better sheets and comforters but still decent. My only complaint with the room would be that the sliding doors did not lock and the mosquitos in the room did make many night's uncomfortable. Hotel should probably think about implementing nets. The staff is amazing, great service from the housekeeper to the bar and dining staff. They were always hospitable, greetful and cheerful. The hotel offers a main buffet with a la carte restaurants. The only complaint with the a la carte restaurants was that even though there were included reservations could only be made between 7am-9am. The buffet food was decent. Hit or miss at times. The most annoying aspect of the buffet area were the constant flies all over. It was a non stop battle just avoiding them from landing on your plate and eating at the same time additionally the mosquitoes all over, from the buffet area to the seating areas near the bars. I would suggest the hotel implement repellent candles or any other outdoor repellent. Trying to enjoy a good drink while being constantly bitten is not fun. Entertainment was good but could be a bit better. The did offer afternoon entertainment and I the actions with the guests by the pool and beach area. From morning yoga classes to frisbee activities and bubble and beach ball tossing in the pool. My only suggestion would be the music and dj during the afternoons it was subpar or lacked at times
