I booked the stay for my dad who is very picky about where he stays , he absolutely loves it and say he will come back for a longer stay , he said the location was beautiful and clean staff were very nice . He could not stop raving about the location of the hotel also .

I absolutely would not recommend this property to anyone. Our flight into the Santo Domingo was canceled due to Hurricane Erin so we were not able to check in on the date we booked the room. I reached out to the Hotel to inform them of this, never received a response. We finally made it to the property and was told we would not be getting the room we booked. Normally not an issue HOWEVER we booked a PREMIUM room and was given a standard shoebox room instead with absolutely no form of refund or compensation. I spoke with the manager who in turn tells me because I didn't show up my original room was given away because it was reserved for someone else. Keep in mind the hotel room was PAID IN FULL. This hotel and it's surroundings is absolute garbage and I definitely would not be staying here again.

The staff is wonderful! They keep the hotel very clean and are available at frint desk 24 hrs. Many food options on the same street as hotel and right across the street from the beach. Gyom restaurant and the Boathouse are excellent for seafood at reasonable prices. The people are very friendly. It helps to have a translator on your phone if you don't speak Spanish. There is a strong police & guard presence in boca chica as they are keeping crime down. Definately fealt safe. We would stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hotel Vicentina--an oasis in Boca Chica 🏝️. The staff truly made my stay feel extra special with their warm and welcoming service. I was particularly impressed by their outstanding attention to detail throughout the entire property. From the pristine rooms to the beautiful grounds, everything was meticulously maintained. And let me tell you, the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep 🛌. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a relaxing getaway!

This hotel had everything we needed. It was very close to the airport in Santo Domingo. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good. Hot water and AC both worked great. The front desk person was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located a few minutes to Boca chica on foot and on a street with his food and bars. Highly recommended.
