Travelers beware!! I have stayed in several resorts in the D.R. and this is by far the worst ever. The room was dated. The ac did not blow cold air and rattled the entire night even after maintenance “checked”it. The ceiling fan didn’t not work and was dangling from the ceiling. The mattress was very old and lumpy. The tub needed to be refinished, the caulk was missing, and the shower walls and curtain were dirty. To top it off, there was used soap on the window sill inside of the shower and the glass for that window was missing allowing mosquitos into the room. I could not get any beach towels or an iron after three requests. The food was horrible and mostly undercooked. They gave me a plastic 12 ounce bottle of water that you would buy at a gas station. I have to keep the bottle and refill at water stations on-site. I could only endure one night and that was New Year’s Eve. What an horrible place to bring in 2025. I meet with Amston upon my initial check in to try to resolve the issues after first seeing the condition of the room. The resort was booked and they said if I didn’t like this room I surely would not like any of the others. The next morning I meet with Amston (Customer Experience Rep) and I requested a refund for my unused nights. He requested I write out the reason for this request and assured me of a refund for the remaining unused nights on my reservation. It is January 24, 2025 and Expedia has not received authorization for the resort to refund me.

Visitamos el hotel un grupo de 3 parejas una de ellas cuando ingresaron a la habitacion estaba sucia, no estaba preparada, tampoco tenia agua y tardo unas varias horas en llegar, las habitaciones son viejas no funciona el tv, no funcionaban ciertos puertos para electricidad, y tampoco varias luces, tampoco habia jabon para manos en el baño ni toallas para el rostro, en cuanto la comida y bebidas no esperes mucho, en general me parece caro para lo que ofrecen,

The food was a hit or miss and for the most part a miss. I had to go out and buy local food. The water was turned off at a certain time. They should provide hand sanitizer if they routinely turn off the water during during the early morning hours. Aside from the reception desk, no one spoke English.

It wasn’t terrible. Maybe just not my style. When i walked in I noticed the comforter had stains on it. And the walls are so thin. I had a corner room and not only did I hear entire conversations as people walked by outside, but there was a party upstairs until very early hours this morning. The sound just radiates through those concrete walls. The staff was great. Customer service was great. But unfortunately it was hard to sleep.

DONT EVER EVER STAY HERE!!! Went with my family for Christmas vacation and to start it is in the worst part of Boca Chica (very dangerous) as soon as we arrived to our room I took the covers off the bed and there was a huge amount of MOLD (I have pictures to prove it) I asked for a new mattress which they brought me and looked like it came from the trash. I stood there that night, as soon as we woke up we had NO WATER AND THERE WAS ROCHES EVERY WHERE EVEN ON THE BED. I called and told them I need a new room immediately. They tried to change my room but the other room was even worst the ceiling was leaking looked like a waterfall and it as well was dirty. The food that we had was terrible. So I decided we can’t stay here. We booked an hotel in Santo Domingo and left and called EXPEDIA to try to arrange a refund for the rest of my 4 nights that we had left. After 3 days back in the states I received an email stating that the Resort will NOT NOT refund me anything!!! This place scammed me out of 4 Nights seeing I did not use this resort after our 1st night. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE TERRIBLE NASTY AND DISGUSTING. PLEASE IF I CAN HELP ANYONE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS SO CALLED RESORT!! Not to mention the lack of towels people were at the desk yelling that they have had to use the same towels for days and they have not gave them any new towels. As for my family of 4 they gave us 2 towels. Please be aware of this place and do not get SCAMED LIKE ME AND MY FAMILY.
