We had a great experience at Fanari! The staff were amazing! Especially Demos! Thank you so much for making us feel so special! The location was very good! The breakfast was extremely delicious, we ate at their restaurant too, really good food. The sunset view from the hot tub outside our room was breathtaking! Highly recommend this place

Breath taking views overlooking caldera ,meanwhile we felt a million miles away tucked away in our beautiful quiet cave like suites Best part was sipping a drink in our warm bubbly jacuzzi.especially after a big day out it was Heaven. Stavroula went above and beyond to welcome us and help us with any questions. The boys that worked in restaurant above were funny helpful and made you feel so welcome ..As a quest there you get best seats for Sunset dinner .Being an animal lover i adored the mules way below . We would definitely come back here again .Thankyou Stavroula xxxx

The staff was amazing. So attentive and friendly. We felt like we had our on personal staff. Great location and their restaurant above your suite prepares your breakfast daily and will delivery any other meal you wish. Views are spectacular. Rooms are very spacious and modern cave style.

WOW WOW WOW!! Thank you so much Stravoula, Anna, and Fanari Restaurant staff, Dimos, for making this the highlight of our honeymoon stay! This hotel provides a once in a life time luxury experience at a very reasonable price point. We recommend arranging a private taxi from the airport to the hotel, which includes a porter to help with our luggage, guide us to our cliff side paradise, and relax with a welcome drink. We will forever remember the panoramic caldera view of the magical sunset, small islands, and majestic cruises ships, as we leisurely enjoyed our patio with our private jacuzzi, and sun beds. We savoured the 5 star breakfast delivered to our room, laid out beautifully, with the custom omelette, fresh orange juice, fresh croissants, coffee/ cappuccinos, and the best Greek yogurt and honey that we’ve had. We will be sure to come back, and just spend at least a full day enjoying the room. The staff love what they do and make you feel like royalty. We loved the Fanari rooftop restaurant with the most breathtaking view of the sunset (avoid the Oia crowds), and we enjoyed the discount dining there too. Tip: the Anna junior suite was the most inner suite, so it was the most private and felt like our slice of heaven. There are stairs so you can go from the cliff side hotel to access the busy shopping area right away, 5-10 min from the food square, and the best lamb gyros in town. For 10 euros, the staff will help take care of a big bag of laundry too! Thank you again!!

Our stay at Fanari was wonderful. Our room and private patio made for a very intimate and comfortable stay. The views were beautiful and everything you could hope for when staying in Santorini. The hotels restaurant was terrific and the location was perfectly center to the main attractions of Fira. Additionally, Dimos is the greatest staff member we have ever met at any stay.

It was amazing. We stayed in Room Maria, the sunset view was super beautiful that we didnt need to book a restaurant to have that view. It was clean and tidy. The host was very helpful and nice.

Stavroula greeted us with smile and warmth. We enjoyed the complimentary wine . She offer us bottle of water when we return that felt like a house . Everything was great at Fanari Vista - from the fresh served breakfast every morning, to the view second to none, to the excellent meals in Fanari restaurant, and especially the welcoming and friendly hosts Stavroula and Dimos. Nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay the best ever! The suites are so comfortable and private you could sleep all day if you wanted to. Handy to everything in Santorini but tucked away in the hillside with a lovely private hot tub in each suite. Our compliments to the hosts - they run a very unique and charming small set of suites - our stay was everything we had hope for and more. Cathy and Les from Brisbane, Australia.

An oasis in an oasis
What can we say! Our stay at Fanari made our vacation the trip of a lifetime! The service from Dimos and Stavroula was first class. The room itself was beautiful. Bathroom and the shower were so fun. Like a cave! And then jacuzzi! Oh the jacuzzi. On our semi private patio. So lovely! Dimos took our breakfast order and delivered it to our caldera view patio every morning. The food was delicious. Omlettes, yogurt, croissants! Yummy! But the highlight was the sunset view. It was breathtaking and we didn’t get a sunset view like that anywhere else in Greece. The price, the service, the food, the room= worth every penny. Now for a warning for those with bad knees, backs, immobility issues: what makes the hotel so special is being on the cliff with the view of the caldera.. this means walking about 5 minutes up and down some cobble stone steps and roads to get to the hotel. If you call ahead, Dimos will help you with the bags! But I can see how for those with mobility issues, there might be some difficulty. I cant recommend this hotel enough. It was our oasis and we will be comparing everything else to it for now on!

Amazing breakfast, customer service and hospitality from this hotel! We absolutely loved the private hot tub and the view that accompanied it. The restaurant for this hotel is also great and offers a discount but it fills up quick at sunset so definitely secure a spot early. The location is pretty central although there are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Wow. Amazing stay. Gorgeous modern room with a private hot (great temperature) tub. Right in the heart of the best part of the best town (Fira) on the island! We watched the cable car and donkeys from our balcony that overlooked the caldera and all the boats, cruise ships and sunset (May). We did an afternoon trip to Oia which was wonderful. However, we loved getting back to our wonderful accommodation! The provided morning breakfast was sensational. Hot, delicious and plentiful! We let Dimos know that we were going to have our celebration anniversary dinner at the restaurant and we were treated like dear old friends with not one, but two choices of a reserved tables each in a perfect spot and service that was many times over-the-top par excellence! We haven’t felt this good about any dining experience we’ve had in many years! Thank you Dimos and to all the staff that made our stay sensational! The accommodation, restaurant, Fira town day and night was everything we hoped and dreamed it would be!
