I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever had. I specifically paid extra for a Full Ocean View room. Instead, I was placed in Building 2 on the third floor, where another hotel completely blocked a large portion of the ocean view. When I spoke to the front desk, I was told, “That’s all we have.” I pointed out that Building 1 doesn’t have another hotel blocking the view, but was told it was fully booked. They moved me to the fifth floor of Building 2, but the neighboring hotel was still blocking the view. If the view is obstructed, it should not be sold as a “Full Ocean View” room. This feels like false advertising. The problems didn’t stop there. The building is very old with poor soundproofing—you can clearly hear your neighbors, even when they’re using the bathroom. Despite staying for three nights, our room was never cleaned. We even had to go to the front desk to ask for more toilet paper. I complained to both Hotels.com and the hotel directly, but neither provided any solution. I seriously considered moving to another hotel, but everything nearby was fully booked. Paying a premium for a room that doesn’t match what’s advertised, combined with poor maintenance and terrible customer service, made this an extremely frustrating experience. I cannot recommend this hotel, and I certainly won’t be staying here again.

Excellent stay!

There was a severe ant issue in my room. I filed three complaints and was told they would be addressed, but they were not. The ants invaded our suitcases and personal handbags. Good thing I had Lysol, so I used it to clean out my suitcase and personal handbag before departure.
