Good location. Access to pool and hot tub. Be advised. The website says breakfast and shuttle available. While this is true, potential guests should be aware that the shuttle is not free; tips only. And breakfast consists of bagels, cereal - hot and cold - muffins, coffee, OJ, and water. No eggs, bacon or potatos. Also, this hotel was formerly a Best Western. That being said, if you need a place to stay close to Siesta Key, go for it. 👍

The outside of the building is repainted and looks good. The inside is worn down. The room was a double queen that for safety sake should have been a single. There was a lot of furniture crammed in there making everything seem so much tighter. The barroom was so small that the door had to be cut out so it wasn’t blocked from closing by the toilet. The pool was nice and warm but the sides need a good scrubbing. The hot tub was nice and hot. The pool towels were hand towels and you had to take 4 to be able to cover a chair or dry off. They were rough as well. The coffee was cold and did not taste good. The staff that were working were very nice though. The beds were overly soft with bed linen that was clean, but extremely worn.

Good but could be better

Clean! However, shower temperature was very spotty. You either burned or froze. We did tell the agent on departure. Breakfast was very high in carbohydrates with the only protein some yogurt but with fruit sugars. Lack of shade around the pool except for two tables. Limited number of lounge chairs.

Property was ok for what we needed, flooring in room felt very damp and did not want to walk on it barefoot. The bathroom door barely closed needed to push hard to close. The breakfast was very basic, just dry bagels and cereal. I would stay here if you’re looking to save money. But unfortunately we booked during Valentine’s Day weekend so we paid premium for this and that’s one of the main reasons I’m a little disappointed.

The property had a great location near food and groceries. I liked the pool vibes and pool side bar. However, i would have liked a warm breakfast instead of just a bagel bar for the price. And there were only 5 reclining pool chairs, with most being so saggy you were sitting or laying on an uncomfortable bar.

Nice update of older property, very clean and comfortable, great pool area for a motel, fun pool bar. Great location, easy to get to beach and restaurants in Siesta Key. Pretty quiet for being on a main street, individual AC units are loud though & cycle on/off all night.
