The hotel didnt stock the room we were staying in and there wasnt even a hair dryer. I would also prefer having a microwave in the room. The bathroom sink looked dirty around the edge of where it meets the wall a d the chalk around the tub was coming off. Everything else was great, food, staff, amenities. Etc.

Great for business and families
A common problem with Florida coastal hotels is moisture, mildew, or mold… a nightmare for allergy and asthma sufferers. My family switched hotels three times to finally find the perfect fit with the Hyatt Place in Lakewood Ranch. The hotel was clean in appearance AND smell, the complimentary breakfast was a good variety, location and exterior lighting were safe, and all the amenities were in service. For example, the pool and fitness center were open and clean.

Clean property. However, the bathroom door is extremely difficult to close. There is also no microwave. The TV has limited Chanel’s with no streaming option or WiFi capability to cast from your own device. The front staff was not very friendly (Nakia) upon check in. We won’t stay here again. It was clean but that was about it…

Our room was not made up unless we stopped at the desk and specifically asked which was usually after 2 PM when we finally gave up waiting for them. When we asked at the desk they responded with, "do you want a full service?" The question was so unexpected, I responded with, "we want the service you would normally give to a guest at this hotel."

No great for a one or two day stay.
We were very impressed with the size of the room. However, the room was not cleaned until day four of our day six trip totally took advantage of the breakfast every day of the day, which was very clean and delicious. However, we noticed the room smelled a little musty and, the humidity was terrible. Our clothes were always damp from all the moisture. This was our only complaint about our stay, but it did make it uncomfortable putting our clothes on always being wet.
