We had a great stay at the best western. Room was perfect and loved the little kitchen in the room. The lady hosting breakfast and evening dinner was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

The most uncomfortable beds and pillows ever. Suites fit 5-6 people and the tiny little shampoo and conditioner that is provided is hardly enough for one person to shower. Breakfast was good lots of variety. Pool and hot tub were nice but chemicals were so strong our eyes were burning just sitting in the hot tub.

Two issues: Trouble trying to find the selected channels on the TV. Guide says one thing, enter the channel numbers what shows up is not as expected. Frustrating trying to find something without scrolling through the channels. TV needs replacing Pixels are burnt out

Short stay

The complementary breakfast was unavailable as my plane leaving Saskatoon was at 5:40 am. Since it was included as part of my one night stay cost, it would have been a friendly gesture on the part of the hotel to make an alternate food offering in place of the breakfast at no cost to me. The staff, whose names I think were Tammy and Maxine at the front desk were very kind. Thank you to Tammy for coming up to my room as I was unable to get the Coffee pod machine operating.

I stayed in a King suite, it was fantastic. Lots of space, clean with the decent sized appliances including a dishwasher!! A real treat for the longer stays. The hallways were brightly lite and nice and wide, which was great for those with mobility issues and requiring a wheelchair or walker. I would stay there again.

The breakfast was good most days, but when they were busy they could not keep up. The housekeeping was the biggest problem, they did not come daily and when they did they would not do a thorough clean and never left us towels. We had to ask everyday for towels. We were there almost a week and never had our room vacuumed/ sheets changed or bathroom cleaned The room style was a bonus with the separate bedroom area and kitchen amenities. The lady who took care of breakfast most days was lovely and very helpful!

They advertised free parking. During check-in we were informed that if we parked in their lot for our one week trip we would have to pay $14.95 a day. That is not free parking! This is not advised on the website and thus an unexpected fee. If it would have been advertised as such we would have booked at one of the other airport hotels, which allow you to park for free. We ended up cancelling our reservation at the front desk because the manager insisted on the parking charge. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott and parked for free.
