All I can say is the location was great. However, the hot tub didn't work, and both the pool and hot tub were FILTHY. I normally don't complain, but this is my 2nd stay at an AmericInn recently and both times I was disappointed. The front desk staff was awesome, but another employee tried convincing several of us in the pool area the hot tub was a "therapy" hot tub. At this point, I don't know if I am willing to stay at an AmericInn again as it appears ownership is unable to maintain the properties.

I just want to know why there are grills scattered throughout the property. Pros: Large room, room was mostly clean, good fridge & microwave, Dove brand heiygene products in the shower, good water pressure, windows able to open, friendly staff. Cons: Good luck getting enough hot water for a 5-minute morning shower. The hot water system NEEDS to be updated. The pillows were pretty bad, and the room smelled of wet dog.

When we opened our room door we were hit in the face with a musty stench. Our room overwhelmingly smells like damp towels that were left at the bottom of the washer for days. There appears to be mold on the bathroom ceiling and everything (carpet, towels, beds, etc) feels damp. I assume this is a humidity/moisture issue but makes the stay unenjoyable. Front desk supplied air freshener but it only briefly marked the scent.

The water pressure in the shower was so bad . Sure it was hot just not much water coming out of that shower. The tub was ultra slippery so as you try to get wet you have to hold on to the bar so you dont fall. This is a catastophy waiting to happen. And the bathroom was clogged, better choices are accross the river in Clinton

Nice time

We arrived at the hotel, driving a motorcycle in the pouring rain. It’s a girl behind the counter. Did an excellent job of helping us get to our room quickly. The door was super hard to open. The room was very clean. Very little water pressure in the sink. Other than that we had a great stay!
