This was a lovely new hotel close to the airport. I didn't get to experience the breakfast because we had a 6 am flight to catch. The driver came early to accommodate us.

Savanah retreat
Absolutely the best location!!! 20 minutes from River Street, which was amazing. 45 minutes to Tybee Island beach. Hotel was beautiful and staff was very friendly. I am definitely recommending this hotel to everyone!!! The only thing i didn't like was breakfast. No hot meal served, but what they did have was good.

Overall, you get what you pay for. However, I feel like I was duped in that this hotel is a refurbished Comfort Inn and, while furnishings seem to be updated, flooring and original building structures are dated. The A/C seemed to have a hard time maintaining temperature the first night and stayed very cold the remainder of the stay. Breakfast is very lacking. It's possible the Spark brand by Hilton encompasses a lower level of comfort, aesthetics and accommodations. As for staff, I visited during the technical outage with Microsoft and I appreciated how hard staff members worked to accommodate guests who were not able to properly check in and get into their rooms.

Staff was nice, but - Breakfast was truly a disappointment for an expensive night at a hotel and I did not get the type of room I reserved nor did I get picked up at the hotel after a flight delay. Hilton should rethink its strategy with this type of hotel and it does not bode well for this brand. I am rethinking my loyalty to Hilton after this. Please try harder next time without cutting corners.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The beds were very comfy I was disappointed with the gym. It was not the cleanest and it was missing half the free weights.

The hotel had a smell. The carpet in the elevator was filthy. In the room, tje bathroom had a ring around the toilet, the tub had some sort of stain under the facet, and the water was very slow to drain while showering, have the water over ankle high.
