Broken pool

We returned back to our room around 4:00 pm and there hadn't been anybody by to clean the room and leave dry towels. We had 3 people in the room. It would have been nice if the pool was working, we were looking forward to it. Overall it was a very nice stay and the staff was great.

We stayed one night on our way out of Savannah, and it was a decently comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious and the hotel is near good restaurants, such as Wild Ginger. Some cons were that the hotel was extremely noisy, as there were children constantly running above us and you could hear other guests' arguments through the walls. There were noisy cars outside as well, at times. The bathroom wasn't the most clean and neither was the couch. Breakfast was fine and filling. The staff were all wonderful. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Savannah Historic District, which isn't bad at all after a full day of exploring. It's very close to Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport.

We stay at a lot of Holiday Inn Expresses and have a level of expectation. Unfortunately, this hotel does not meet the standard. It’s not bad. It’s just not to the level that we used to for a Holiday Inn Express. There were surface areas that were not wiped down to include the shower. Also, the conditioner did not work. On the other hand, the staff was exceptionally friendly. There are a lot of other hotels in this area I would recommend choosing another option.

The hotel was excellent! The pool needed to be cleaned and updated , but the rooms were very clean. This hotel was quiet and the breakfast was great!
