Great location, everything is pretty walkable from this location. I was a little upset that when I checked in, I was given a different room from the one I had originally booked. Luckily, the staff was amazing and we were able to move to the room that we needed the next day. Everyone was really nice, the room was nice and spacious once we got into it. You can hear the outside traffic a lot from our king suite on the third floor, so that kept me up a little at night, but other than that, everything was very nice. I was a little disappointed in the drink tokens only being able to be used on a few limited drinks. And we were supposed to receive a breakfast for two and a dinner for two and we did not receive that.

Great location. Walkable to riverfront & shopping. Had to park at Whitaker lot because 48./day for parking is a lot that they charge. Got parking for 20./day. Had a nice stay. A lizard was in our room. Got him with a towel & brought him outside. I guess that’s to be expected on the 1st floor

Terrible service

Terrible service and staff are rude. $48 a night to use valets bc no parking but the attendants were clueless and seemed annoyed that they actually had to go get the cars. One even rolled their eyes. Had to reregistered our name in the system every time to get our car bc apparently couldn’t figure it out. Check in overcharged us by $280 and when trying to explain she was rude and annoyed as well and now have to wait for it be refunded. At one point my husband started walking in wrong directions down a hall that led to offices and a manager or employee stopped him and as he turned around to go she turned around to other employees and started laughing with them about it. How so unprofessional. The hotel itself was nice. Love the historic feel to it and beds and room were clean and comfortable. With that being said I won’t be back. You can have the nicest place but it’s the people and staff you remember. I’ll def be staying somewhere else on my many trips to Savannah.

Extra chargers

Only thing I would be prepared for was an extra $150 charge for incidentals just in case. ( suppose to refund if not used. ) And a $54 resort fee plus $48 each night for parking. So whatever the cost of your room add another $300 to that.

Location was great.. we had a few maintenance problems but the staff was right on it.. for a historical atmosphere good place to stay .. only complaint… valet parking is over priced but after being in town for several days realize they were in line with others..

Great location... but I found the bed to be uncomfortable and the layout of the bathroom not practical and even hazardous for older guests. Shower cleanliness also left a bit to be desired. Location is great though street can get a little noisy. Staff was very friendly.
