We enjoyed our stay, and liked the location, but were disappointed by the lack of maid service. I would expect an upscale hotel costing as much as this to have daily maid service. We stayed at an inexpensive chain hotel a few days earlier, and had service everyday.

This property is severely over priced. The ac unit does not work properly and you will spend the night tossing and turning due to temperatures fluctuating from one extreme to the next. I have asthma and the humidity in the room caused me to use my inhaler several times. This information was shared with the front desk and the response AS IM CHECKING OUT was “we’ll see what maintenance can do.” How does that help me? I paid over $300 to not sleep/ be uncomfortable. Really disappointed with this experience.

Wonderful courtyard

The Brice is a wonderful place in a beautiful location. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. We really love the happy hour and hanging out in the courtyard with our pup.

Upon booking this room, the confirmation email indicated there would be a mandatory resort fee of 30.00 upon check in. Also 20.00 credit for a meal at their restaurant and two bottles of water at the desk on check in. No mention of any of that at check in…had to find two bottles of water to provide us. We did get into the room about 1.5 hrs early, which was nice. Also frustrating: mandatory (no self parking) valet parking in the lot across the street ($49.00)…though somehow it was included as an add on via Expedia for only $14. Savannah has free street parking from 5p to 8am so finding a spot a few blocks away or even closer was not a stretch..but I already paid for it on here. Room was exceptionally damp and humid despite comfortable weather outside. The shower and bed were nice but overall this was not worth $400 a night plus the aforementioned fees. Will not return. Spent the 20.00 restaurant credit on a glass of wine. Bartender was not warm or welcoming; a largely empty restaurant and bar around 630pm on a Thursday. Not sure how the food was.

Good location, very walkable within historic district. The hotel was a bit shabbier than other Kimpton's we have stayed at. But beds were comfortable and happy hour was nice. People are friendly.

Honest review

This is an extremely pet friendly hotel… They even allow pets in the restaurant area….. The furniture was dirty and there was pet hair all over the place. The pictures are deceiving. Also there is a $50 a night mandatory valet service. They are great at their job but it’s expensive. There isn’t any free parking. If you have allergies DON’T stay here!

Great Location for Walkable Fun

Terrific location to access many of Savannah’s sites, architecture and restaurants. The lobby areas and courtyard are beautiful and comfortable for hangouts. We enjoyed the nightly happy hours. The only complaints were parking and housekeeping. The housekeepers arrived each day in the late afternoon, not to clean but to deliver towels. The closet had a layer of dust which made us think that it hadn’t been touched in months. At $49 per night, the valet parking was pricey. We got the Savannah parking app and instead paid $12 for every 24 hours. It was easy to park on the street.
