Put a smile on!

We arrived after three and checked in. The beds were stripped but not made so asked front desk to help. It was no problem as we just walked to the market. This place is awesome ! Even though our room was on the main drag , the noise didnt bother us. Besides it subsided shortly aftet dark. The donuts for breakfast were amazing!! So many choices!! We took apple fritters but there was the biggest jelly donut i ever saw staring at me and i passed. Coffee was excellent also. Very short walk to almost everything. Loved the park at your front door concept! Will definitely be back. Front desk supurb !!!

This property was retro. The staff was amazing and very friendly. They were able to offer an amazing dining option as well. They have a cute little pet area and a decent pet fee. If ever in Savannah, we will stay there again. Oh and dont forget the RC Cola and Moonpies.

Great Stay!

We loved staying at the Thunderbird Inn! The staff was very friendly, they welcomed our dogs and the room was very clean. We loved the retro theme too!

Fun place to stay

We had a quick 2 nights in Savannah and the hotel was convenient to many restaurants, the trolley, and a shuttle to enmarket arena. The other reviews were pretty much spot on. The AC doesn't get the room cold and our keys didn't work twice, I had to get them reprogrammed, but the room was clean and the quaint touches made it an unforgettable stay!!

Best part is the staff and easy walk to dining and the riverwalk. However it is noisy as it is close to the highway and the room was a little mildewy. Could use a little upkeep in the bathroom, dirty vent and cracked tiles. Beware the $25 fee for parking and $50 for pets!

Everything was perfect!

The stay here was unforgettable! It reminded us of old times and was just the most unique experience. On a more practical note: the rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and the little extras (popcorn, lemonade, RC Cola, Moon Pies, and fresh donuts) made it feel so fun and accommodating. Plus, if you’re taking the Old Town Trolley tour, you’re only a 5 minute or less walk to stop #2. Leave your car parked at the hotel and hop on and off the trolley for the day! So convenient!!! We will definitely stay again!

I loved the vintage feel of the hotel. The free donuts and coffee in the morning were a big plus! We brought my dog and she enjoyed walking around the dog walk area. Would definitely stay here again.
