The noise of this property was not acceptable to me. The soccer field was just 30 m away and pretty much every night they had a game with lots of screaming and loud music from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. Then there was construction on the other side of the property which started at 8:00 sometimes even before 8:00 a.m.. Advertised as a yoga retreat for serenity and peaceful surroundings was definitely not the case. I asked for a discount because of the noise but I was told it had nothing to do with them. The yard needs attention since everything is overgrown. Some of the bathroom doors are rusted right through plus a glass is missing in the door. The whole place feels like nobody is spending any time or money on anything. I will not recommend or ever will I spend time there again. The room and the bathrooms were clean and the mattress was good. But that's about it.
Very close to the center of Sayulita, its restaurants and stores.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This property seems like a huge place with hardly any guests. It was not expensive so you don’t expect the Taj Mahal but the place seemed understaffed. The desk clerk was the house keeper and the maintenance person. The water quit in the late afternoon maybe not the properties fault. The bed was comfy and I liked the fact that it was quiet. Little coffee shop around the corner. It was ok I guess.
*5 Stars*! Oka Hey is a wonderful & affordable Sanctuary among the lively bustle of Sayulita ~ convenient to many excellent restaurants, a colorful local shopping experience, and an easy walk to the 'playa' beachfront ~ I decided to stay for a month at Oka Hey to dive deeper into this quaint town on the Mexican coast. A special shout-out to Sasa & Cristina, who are making my stay at Oka Hey Sayulita So. Very. Delightful.
This wonderful property is clean, safe and within easy walking distance of the beach and nightlife. Sayulita can be lively at night, so being a few blocks away from the noisy center is desirable. It's basic, but worth the modest price. I'll definitely stay here again.
Is small boutique hotel, washroom/showers outside of the room. Shower didnt have hot water in the evening, had to get it turned on for the morning. needed the mosquito net which was a bit of a bother.
Fair price for the town and time of year, but wouldnt be wanting to staying for long term.
Best little secret in Sayulita. A true minimalist paradise. If you want to experience real Mexico without the constant distractions from todays crazy fast past world come here. It’s like time just slows down, you can unwind in the beautiful garden areas or do yoga just steps from your room. A beautiful cafe attached for fabulous cappuccinos, perfect fresh squeezed OJ and homemade baked treats. Met all our needs and was a great value for budget conscious travellers. Room was clean, nice size and we had a private bath which was perfect for us. Also has some suites without bathroom, shared bath looked to be a great also just a little less private. Definitely book this place, you won’t regret. Can’t wait to return in May 2024 !
