The hotel appears to have had a recent revamp, and all aspects are modern and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are adequate without being spacious, with ensuite shower rooms, many with sea views overlooking the quieter but more scenic north bay, ranging from the castle ruins to the sea life centre. The hotel's private parking is being resurfaced at present, so parking is on nearby streets with permits available from reception at £5.00. Breakfast in the modern dining room was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay.

If someone took you in blind folded you would think it was a brand new build!. The smell of fresh paint, new carpets and general cleanliness. The location is a lovely quite one with fantastic views of North bay (room 32). Had a great stay, easy parking, only £5 for 2 night stay directly outside hotel steps!!. Just one down point with room, would have been nice for a full length mirror. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean hotel.

Probably the only hotel we have felt like taking our shoes off in as we entered, seemed very clean. Only issue was a buzzing/humming coming from one of the plug sockets, this was raised the following morning.

Ok, but….

Hotel itself is well positioned and you can see it’s been recently modernised and is very clean. However, the advertised parking included was not the case. It’s under renovation and no word of this is given on the booking or the following emails that came to my inbox after confirmation. We had to pay for street parking which had the hotel’s parking garage been full, I would have paid. We were expected to pay even without the advertised garage, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The other issue was the smell. The entire building smelt of drains, and when we entered our room it was evidently coming from plugholes. I suspect a greater problem is at hand here and it needs addressing.

Great value and comfortable overnight stay

I stayed in the single compact room which was ideal for me as I was at a function so just needed a clean and comfortable overnight stay. I found the room to be very clean. Plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. A vegan option for breakfast was available for me. Overall I found my stay to be excellent value for money

A fabulous clean friendly stay

From the moment we walked in the door this hotel was fabulous. We were meet by plush carpet & furniture through out the hotel. The gentleman on reception was friendly, professional and really knowledgeable of the area, places to see & go. We were al made to feel welcome. Our rooms were amazing, spacious, clean comfortable. The other areas of the hotel were clean and well kept. Breakfast was great. The bar well stocked with games on every table. This hotel would be suited to all sorts of travellers. It has a lift to the high rooms and a good staircase.

Great property, the manager was super helpful showing us where to park, even let us check in early as the room was ready, hotel looked very fresh and clean, room looked freshly decorated and newly carpeted, great room very spacious and plenty of hot drinks to use and biscuits when we arrived, shower was great really powerful and hot, will definitely return in the future!!
