BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE. I honestly don't understand how there are any positive reviews of this "hotel". First off, it's not a hotel, it's a motel, one that resembles a pay by the hour one instead of per night. There was broken glass scattered along the corridors leading to each room, garbage everywhere and I cannot even begin to explain the filth of the bathroom, mold all over the shower curtain, ceiling and we put a towel on the floor and needed to wear shoes to not touch the floor. There were stains all over the towels and on the ceiling above our bed. The Wilkes Barre Inn and Suites is not an Inn, it's a roach motel that should be offered per hour not per night as the evidence is literally on the walls.

There was a horrible smell in the room, weed smell outside, and there room was dirty. I pulled on the toilet paper roll and a bug fell on my leg.

First off, when i first pulled in it it looked nothing like the website. Went to front desk and no one was available. When i called the front desk, the attendant answered and said front desk. He was surprised when i said i was at the front desk. At the front desk there were about 30 screens on the tv. Which made me feel as there was a lot of crime. After receiving my key and proceeding to room, the stairway was filled with trash. Upon entry of room, it was dirty, and smelled like Marijuana. The bedding was covered in burn holes. Yes it was a smoking room, but i have never stayed at a place that horrible. I immediately left the room and went to front desk to bring this to their attention. I was told sorry, but i requested a smoking room. I told him i was no longer checking in and i refused to stay because the website showed otherwise a better place. I was told i was not entitled to a refund. Now i am out my money for a 2 day stay.
