Coast Gateway Hotel is excellent for travelers flying to or from SeaTac. The shuttle service is convenient, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. A breakfast is included, while it is not gourmet, it is better than other breakfasts in airport hotels. The hotel is adjacent to Sharp’s Roasthouse - this is the hotel’s primary advantage in the SeaTac neighborhood. The dining options are otherwise very poor (junk food) or 13 Coins a quarter of a mile away.

Though the hotel is itself nothing special; it is close to the airport, offers free shuttle service to the same, and is right next to a bustling restaurant offering bar food and drink. The hotel room was clean and quiet, but otherwise unremarkable.

We were there for two nights (in Seattle two get new passports and then off to Shanghai the following day. The hotel is literally right next to the airport (although is somewhat route is required to actually access the airport entrance.) It was a perfect place to stay for a utilitarian stop over. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, helping us with making copies and even having us email photos to them that they could then print out for us. A perfect choice for an overnight. And the restaurant across the street was reasonably priced and provided satisfying… If pretty high calorie… Food.

I chose this location because it was so close to the airport. I could have been a little farther away, in a hotel that still offered an airport shuttle, for half the cost. Lobby is nice and clean, ladies at the front desk were incredibly nice and friendly. Rooms are very small with full beds, I don’t remember the last time, if ever, I was in a hotel with less than queen beds. I regret staying here.

We had a flight cancellation and needed an overnight near Seattle airport. This had shuttle service, and the price was right. We arrived before noon, but they even allowed us to check in early and take advantage of the continental breakfast. There's a free shuttle to the Westfield Mall, and the Sharpes restaurant in the parking lot is A-plus!

The hotel's proximity to parking and the airport and a good restaurant make it very convenient. The room was nice and up to date, and the bed was very comfortable. The shuttle ride to the airport is quick and again, very convenient. A great place to stay when flying into or out of SeaTac.
