The fact that doors are missing between suites in room 820 and one bathroom door does not have a lock on it. The room could use upgrades in furniture and decor.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and 3 days. Before booking, I read all the reviews, which led me to avoid the front desk due to the negative feedback about their service. However, I did have to interact with them once when I requested housekeeping at 7 AM before heading out for the day. When I returned around 10 PM, the room hadn't been cleaned, which was quite disappointing. As someone who works in hospitality, it was clear that there was a lack of communication at this hotel. I went down to the front desk to request fresh towels, as I was leaving again, and encountered a staff member with her hair up and two strands in the front. She was rude and had an unwelcoming annoyed face, telling me they had already delivered the towels, even though I had been in the room and never received them. It was a bit strange. On a positive note, the valet and a short Hispanic woman at the front desk were both wonderful. The room itself was fine for sleeping and showering, but we spent most of our time exploring Seattle. Ultimately, I wouldn't return, as I wish I had spent a little more for better service. The staff here could really benefit from proper hospitality training.

The staff was amazing and so friendly. My car was impounded on the morning of checkout and the hotel showed me to check out 3 hours late and let me keep all my belongings up in my room until I was able to get my vehicle back and put my license into my own car. The room was clean, the hotel had a great winter aesthetic that was both warm and welcoming to this out of town traveler!

The room was perfect and the bed was perfect! Fyi- in addition to room rate, $50 for parking and $16 for breakfast. they charge a $150 deposit fee upon arrival. Unexpected!

I got a great rate. The hotel is fine, comfortable beds. Not accessible for everyone. There are several steps to get to the elevator... with your bags. Easy to walk over to Pike and then down to market to avoid the insane hills. Great shopping and dining roughly 4 to 6 blocks away.

It was quiet, with very comfortable beds, in a conveniently navigable part of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The ~100 yo building requires some upgrading, however, as our first room began to drip onto the bed from condensation on the ceiling. Nothing dried in the room - ever. I believe the ac/heat is inadequate for the design of the room, should you have four guests showering daily. They kindly changed our room, but the new one had visible mold in the corners. I realize the costs of updating ventilation/ac/heat would be huge, but I’d suggest the owners begin investigating the options…

Self check in was slow especially when my name was entered incorrectly, 3 staff failed to assist me. The time it took, it would have been faster if I checked in at the counter which I ended up doing. It's an old hotel, but don't care as long as it's decent and clean; walls are thin.

I chose the hotel mainly due to its location. Near from downtown and the main attractions of the city. I didn't like the access from the lobby to the elevators, and I found the hotel rooms quite old.
