Hampton Inn at this site is getting older. #408 in particular has loose shower equipment. There’s no place to hang a towel. The bottom stand of the toilet isn’t clean but it wasn’t terrible. Overall it’s a nice sight but you can see wear in places. Parking is terrible underground. We couldn’t park in some spaces because they are too small for modern cars. Once you do park it’s sketchy if you will be able to get in or out. I noticed other people having problems with their USVs. Paying $30 was a bit much to pay for the frustration. The staff was excellent!!

When we checked in we asked if the room was on the ground floor. The receptionist said no you are on the 3rd floor. The room was only 3 doors away from the lobby and on the first floor, looking directly onto the street. We asked to change up and told no and referenced booking through Expedia as the reason no change possible. Once in the room we started to receive spam calls for life insurance etc so had to unplug the phone. The door to the bathroom was very hard to open and my son got stuck for a minute. As an accessible room this was concerning. Room being by the lobby and across from luggage storage and pantry, looking directly at a road and all guests passing by did make it noisy. Area was super convenient but would stay in future but request a different room in advance.

There should be more flexibility if we arrive before our room is ready, we should be able to get a key to the Gym while we wait to workout. This concept seems foreign to the front desk staff. Very confusing that if we're checking in for 2 or 3 days, rooms not ready for 2 more hours and we want to use the gym, they can provide a key to do so because we don't have a room key. Hotels do this across the globe.

Service was great from reception to the janitorial crew. A little confusing with the two parking garages as I had a suite for our visit. Refrigerator didn't get very cold, which lead to my not wanting to store anything perishable in there, even though it was a full sized fridge. The two A/C units in the space sounded very old and on the verge of breaking down almost the whole time we were there. Took a bit of messing with the remotes to get them to even work and blow cool air, and not hot air.
