I usually book Expedia VIP hotels and comparing this hotel to others, there are no added benefits as you would expect. They need to put more effort into making you feel they deserve a VIP category. Aside from that, it is very quiet and so close to everything. Beds are super comfortable.

Nice overnight except….

It was perfect except one thing. We arrived off a cruise around 12 p.m. despite our room being ready, they wanted us to pay an additional $48 to have it or wait till 4. We stayed at another hotel around the corner before the cruise and since the room was ready - they let us have it - no extra charge.

Quirky property and excellent location. The room was small though as was the bathroom and the hotel is a little dated couldnt even worknout how the bedside lamps worked or maybe they were not working. Finally found a hotel that actually gave me an electric kettle which made my stay andy day ! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was a great location and well thematically executed hotel. The devil is in the details and it was a great deal of cost relative to the execution of the hotel. It has clearly had some renovation work done, however a great deal of this is cosmetic. The room was tidy, but you can clearly see how it was retrofitted as opposed overhauled in terms of the building.
