I liked the area of this hotel but there was grime and mold around the tub the carpets felt dirty. No real amenities considering the price tag of one night felt like this hotel was lacking. Valet was also terrible we had to wait 15-20 mins to give our keys and to get our car back… overall not great. It has a lot of potential so it’s sad it missed the mark.

What Hotel Max will least like to hear (or acknowledge) is that its self-congratulatory identity as "cool" ignores its fundamental purpose: To house and serve its guests. Instead, two of its main staff were pompous and inattentive. Example? When asked for a first name by which to address them, the person's response was "How dare you ask me that private question!" How dare, indeed. The hospitality "industry" should be hospitable. Additionally, the bathroom was almost dreadful; dirty sink and barely workable bathroom. Window AC units should be upgraded. Have I said enough? Never again will I have anything to do with Hotel Max. Let the buyer beware when comparing this Seattle "hot spot" with far too many other and vastly better options.

It only had 2 VERY SMALL elevators for the whole hotel, like 3 people max, 2 if they had luggage. With the hotel being full it took FOREVER to get an elevator. We had to take 3 flights of stairs down with our full size 50# luggage because we waited and 3 elevators came and were full. Other than the elevators, it was nice.

We were told we’d receive a text when our room was ready for check-in but never got one even though they confirmed my phone number. We went out and had some food and came back when we were told to check in time was 4 PM. They were checking in other people to the hotel so finally I got back into the line and the staff were nice to me, but they weren’t nice to the other staff. The elevator was broken so it took forever to get up and down. There was no garbage in the bathroom to put towels after drying your hands.
