My sister and I were really excited to stay here but the staff wasn’t friendly at all. We had a drink and dinner one night, went for a swim, and everywhere it felt like we had to make an effort to get staff attention to serve/help us. Disappointed because we spend a lot of money at McMenamins all over.

Our 3rd trip back to McMenimans to stay for Xmas & also to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Love this place, so clean/comfy & such interesting decor!! Great food options, love the gift shop! My husband loves the fire pits outside! We will be back soon!

The hotel is is a fun repurposing of a cool school building. The courtyard area is great for gathering with friends or making new ones. Great to have several food and beverage options on premises.

First time to stay at The Anderson School and were pleasantly surprised. However when one thinks about it, they should not as it’s a McMenamin’s property. Staff, food, ambiance and art make for a great stay. Just wish we stayed one more day to watch a movie and swim. Until next time.
