I thought the breakfast was a bit over priced but not sure if that is the going rate in Seattle, everything is expensive in Seattle. My kids and I all agreed that they have the best pancakes we have ever tried!

We had booked at the Marriott Waterside because we were going on an Alaska cruise. The hotel told us they had no rooms left like we had purchased and they would secure a room at the downtown Sheridan. It would cost no more. We had to take a cab two and from the Sheridan instead of walking to the ship. That cost was $60 instead of walking to the ship. Won’t book through Hotels.com again.

Staff was friendly. Hotel is in a great spot. Beware the add on fees. Marionette adds a “resort fee” upon checkin. Basically extorts extra money for an already pricey room with only real benefit is free water bottle.

Online we were given the impression that there would be a Marriott shuffle from the airport. So we waited for the shuttle and when it came we were told that it only services the downtown location, not the waterfront location. If we had known we would have made a different arrangement up front. We arrived here at 1pm and knew that it was early but the Reception Staff insisted that we had to wait exactly until 4pm (was even over that) before they would give us a room access.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The location was walking distance to most attractions. The one comment, the AC unit was loud. At night, when it would start up again, it would make a loud rumbling noise. Other than that, I will stay here again.
