SEA at the Pineapple
I arrived a bit early which turned out to be no problem. My room was ready and check in was a breeze. The room was clean and all the things I was looking for were there, fridge, a window that opens, a nice table and chair for my computer work. There were a couple of problems that cropped up the next morning. The shower head was so encrusted with ick that I actually had to clean it before there was enough water to take a shower. And the hair dryer did not work. It was early and there was a person at the desk who said he would get one to me. I had to leave before it arrived. I spoke with the front desk about the shower head and the hair dryer and they got it fixed by the time I got back to the room in the afternoon. Comfy bed. Clean room. Prompt repairs. Life is good

Just the facts:
Clean, quaint with a helpful staff. Small microwave, fridge, blow dryer, iron & board. Coffee and machine in the room. Shampoo, conditioner and body soaps, all Tommy Bahama, provided. Parking off the street $20 a night not included. Near restaurants and market and a gas station. Plenty of usb plug ins. Swimming pool is closed for the season. 9 min from University District shopping. WiFi was good, tv channels too. Bathroom was handicap accessible. A small safe and bathrobes were provided. Beds were comfortable with separate comforters per person. A/C worked really good. There’s also a cafe on each end of the block.

First time at this hotel and first time at a Staypineapple property. I really enjoyed how well thought out everything was; efficient, yet comfortable in the right things. Very much a great value for money. The only thing which irritated me was basically a hidden charge upon arrival. I already paid for the hotel, what is this extra fee? Other than that though, very happy.

The staff charged us more than the agreed price because I booked through Expedia. They definitely treated me worse because of this. I have booked many hotels through Expedia and this was the first overt prejudice against me for booking third party with extra cost penalties .

University Inn is a dreamy place to stay!!
I love the University Inn!! I had a large tub in my room and took a long bubble bath before relaxing with a glass of wine after a very stressful day. I slept well, had wonderful dreams and was on my way early in the morning!!

We loved our stay here, it’s a great location and fun little hotel. We really appreciated the amenities such as the free water and drink. The check in staff were very helpful and kind. They were able to switch our room so we could be next to our friends that were also staying here.

VERY Expensive but was clean and quiet. Parking was convenient. Took 4-5 minutes of wide-open hot water before hot water would reach our room in the morning (3rd floor). No food service outside of a vending machine.
