The staff were awesome and service was great. My issue has to do with the physical state of the room- the hotel is a little dilapidated and needs updating. There was no reception on our TV, and we had to open the windows to air out the room which was stifingly hot; however, we were next to a generator that hummed all night. A dirty towel was left behind - I think it was missed by housekeeping - and one of the drawers in the dresser was not securely seated in the drawer and when I pulled it out, it fell onto my foot (I wasn't expecting it to fall out so easily). It's a basic room and served our needs but for the price, not sure it was worth it.

We chose to stay at the Inn at Virginia Mason for its affordability and proximity to Lumen Field. The hotel is walkable to Pike Place area and Lumen Field for a healthy person (25-30 min walks with decent inclines on your way back). This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for clean, affordable and a comfortable bed to sleep in. If you’re searching for a unique hotel experience, you may look elsewhere. My only qualm was Expedia listed free parking as an amenity which did not end up existing. Parking in the hospital garage a block away cost $20 per day. Not terrible, but I wish Expedia was accurate!

The staff at the Inn are wonderful! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and they understand that you are there for medical care. The hotel has a direct route into Virginia Mason so you don’t need to go outside. The building is older so there’s no air conditioning but as long as you use the provided fan, you’ll be fine. The new bistro has really great food and drinks. Oh and the dining area outside is awesome! I recommend staying here if you’re getting treatment at Virginia Mason.

Housekeeping is every day and when my husband was loading up the car a housekeeper helped him. Also when we checked in young lady at front desk very helpful.
