The place is right beside the Pike market. The whole set up is very cute. The bar on the main floor has great cocktails. The lobby has a great sitting area. You can just read a book or work on your laptop and a chill they had a wine tasting with chocolate raspberry one afternoon, cute. Staff are all super nice. The room is cute too. Only thing is the bathroom door. The design of it needs some improvement. I hurt my fingers three times closing the door.

Nice place to stay fo first time seeing a big city

I was using the body lotion as hand soap the entire time without realizing until we were about to check out 😂 Aside from that everything was amazing. Will return again for a solo trip next time.

Modern and clean

Modern and clean. We were very impressed with the comfortable beds, the modern decor, and the functional and spacious bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location can’t be beat! I would definitely ask for a room overlooking the market and sound for our next stay. This was our second time at the State Street and decidedly our go to when visiting Seattle.

Worst hotel experience we’ve had

My partner and I toss and turned all night due to the extremely uncomfortable pillows. We could hear music non-stop, possibly coming from the restaurant, Check in was awful - we were told our room would likely be ready by 3:00, so we arrived and were told to come back in 30 minutes at which point it was still not ready. If this wasn’t enough, they force you to wait outside on the street until a receptionist sees you and comes to open the door. There was no bell to ring, so we stood outside in the rain 3 times waiting for a receptionist to see us. Street noise at night was loud and could be heard from our room all night. We were changed for a $10 box of water in the room that we did not use. They refunded it after I called them. Only benefit was it was a nice looking hotel with friendly staff. Worst hotel experience Ive had, not worth the cost. Watch out for the surprise resort fee.
