The hotel is getting pretty dated. It’s a good property just needs some updates and perhaps complimentary water versus what they have. An 8 oz Fiji for $4 seems a bit much. Also the security or houseman very unfriendly and oddly intimidating. For the amount of $ I will probably stay elsewhere from now on.

Alaskan Cruise

We stayed overnight before taking our Alaskan Cruise. The service and cleanliness of this hotel was outstanding. I highly recommend it.

The beds were very uncomfortable but the view was decent. Pool is small and shallow but the hot tub is nice. There is very little water pressure and the parking was $42 a night. We’ll go somewhere else next time, but it wasn’t bad.

It was good. Our shuttle back to airport was later than check out time so staff took our luggage and stored it for us til we had to leave. Very nice.

If you don’t look up or down in the hotel your stay will be fine. Looking up you’ll see the room has a water stains on the bathroom ceiling and rust around the shower head. Looking down you can see the tears in the carpet and cracked in the counter top and desk area. Don’t even try to use the pull out mattress the springs were almost poking onto of it. Very uncomfortable!! The blinds don’t close completely so you’ll always have the outside light coming in. Watch out for hidden fees Parking my car for two nights cost 174.00 with all the fees. Watch out for the Urban fee and Resort fee. They are to be the same thing but both The Warwick Seattle and Expedia will charge you !! Additionally don’t book through a 3rd party like Hotels.con or Expedia which will over charge you for the resort fee and tax that the hotel adds to the bill at the end of your stay anyway as noted above. Then the Warwick Seattle will dismiss your concerns and still charge you ! Don’t stay and waste your money.

My son and I stayed 1 night at the property. The room was comfortable. We loved our view from the mini balcony. Wondering too far from the hotel at night was a bit sketchy, but we felt safe when staying close to the hotel. The vibe during the day is different with tourists walking about. There are several sites and restaurants within walking distance of the property. My son is eager to come back for a longer stay.

Great Location Perfect Views

The hotel is in a perfect location to walk anywhere you would want to visit. If mobility is in an issue they will call you a ride and it’s pretty inexpensive.

OK but not Thrilled with the Stay

In the lobby there are no automatic opening doors, so if you have a luggage cart, its hard to in or out of one entrance. The other entrance has stairs between the lobby and the entrance, so no way to go through there. Power outlets by the night stand were recessed into the wall, so very hard to access. Our bed spread had what appeared to be a spot of blood on it, but the property seemed unconcerned when we told them about it, and it was never replaced.
