The Seaview Cottages are adorable. We stayed in a one bedroom with kitchenette and dog friendly. Everything we needed was there and the area outside our cottage and the entire premises was extremely well maintained and clean. We will definitely stay here again!

Loved our recent stay. Wanted a getaway that was affordable and we will definitely be back. Well-maintained, clean, helpful staff, and beach access was very close. Small cottage but had everything we needed. Bathroom was small for us so we may select a different cottage next time, but they have a lot of options. Highly recommend!

Home Away From Home

The perfect place for my home-away-from-home when renovations at home become unbearable. The cottages are very well maintained, extremely clean and are equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay in a quiet area very close to beach access. I recommend breakfast from the restaurant never door!

If you can pair the terms "quaint" and "elevated," it applies to Seaside Cottages. Owner Richard Wood has done a marvelous job of fixing up a cluster of vintage wartime cottages to create a colorful set of lodges. They included lovely amenities (even Q-tips and earplugs). Richard also owns the breakfast biscuit and coffee shop next door. Again, "quaint" meets "elevated," with an great menu of comfort food breakfast favorites with a twist. Sauteed greens as a side for your biscuits and gravy? YES. ALL the employees, from housekeeping at the cottages to the servers at the biscuit shop, create a happy culture. They obviously love who they work for and take great pride in their work and their property. I can't recommend Seaside Cottages enough. We WILL be back.

It was nice to have a warm place with everything we needed, and for a decent price. The biscuit place is on the same lot and their breakfast sandwiches are amazing. I was surprised to see “soundproof rooms” as a description on hotels.com, and then really surprised when we got there and saw the notice about quiet hours and which rooms we would be able to hear. 😂 Quiet talking was discernible through the walls, footsteps, bedsqueaks too. We had a great stay and it wasn’t a problem, but hotels.com should take “soundproof rooms” off as a descriptor, and it might be nice to mention that you can hear everything so that people are aware. Like may other affordable and relatively comfortable places to stay, the price makes it worth the sacrifice of silence.
