The staff were great - always friendly and helpful. However, property feels a little tired. The room was well appointed but aircon and bathroom fan were very noisy. Room was poorly soundproofed so we hear music playing outside until 10pm and people in the hallway. Corridors to rooms also used to store room service supplies etc. The middle building smelt of pot as walked through. Entrance are to hotel looked grubby and unkempt -this is front of house and so first impression guest get.

Our bed was about 5 feet from an outdoor restaurant so we had no privacy and it was very loud. Further, I ordered room service for breakfast. The phone in our room didn’t work (no dial tone) so I called from my cell phone. It rang 30 times and no one answered. So I called the front desk. Nearly an hour later, the food was delivered. There was no spoon for my husband’s oatmeal - only a fork. There was no milk or brown sugar for the oatmeal. There was toast but no butter or jam. We were in a hurry by this point and I didn’t have another hour to wait for corrections. This incomplete breakfast cost over $60. It was ridiculous. I’ve never stayed at a 5 star hotel with so little attention to detail.

After checking in I was confused by the grungy hallway to get to our room. I was even more disappointed by a very outdated room! I paid over $600/night for the place and the room met up to a 3 star room hotel room. Only saving grace for this place is how friendly all the staffs are. Great. location. Walkable to uptown.

Absolutely an amazing property they go above & beyond!! We were able to get a ride to & from shops which was very convenient! The spa was absolutely amazing & the food was great! Can’t wait to visit Sedona again as my first time the Amara made it an experience!

We had the best time! This property is located walking distance to everything. You’re in mountains so it is down a little hill which there is a golf cart to take u up and down onto the Main Street. We walked it no big deal. Property is so pretty. On-site restaurant is really good. Sedona is Beautiful! Staff was beyond friendly! Beds were very comfy room was clean and updated. People of Arizona were so nice too! I will stay here again.. We loved all of it.
