Great location, no elevator
This hotel is in the process of being transitioned to Hilton Grand Vacations property. It's going to need a real refresh to meet that standard. Our King Suite was comfortable. The location is fantastic. My only complaint is that we called on the morning of check-in to request a ground-floor room and to see if we could check in early. They said they were turning over 40 units that day and that we could not check in early, but they would try to put is in a ground-floor room. We showed up at the regular check-in time, 4 p.m., and were told that our room was not yet ready. No problem, we headed to dinner. When we came back we were placed in a second-floor room. There is no elevator. In fact, once you mount the stairs there are still some steps to go up and down to access the rooms. They did send a maintenance person to help us carry the luggage up the stairs. When we got to the room we got a phone call from the front desk saying we had not signed their registration form. I had, but I went back down to the lobby and had to sign it a second time. In a nutshell, the front desk seems to struggle with efficient customer service.
