For this kind of money I expect better. Unit 29 had towel bar hanging out of wall, shower nozzle and handle corroded and hardly working, deck area had not been swept, dirty dishes in dishwasher, ceiling fan inoperable. Quiet once the children and partying adults stopped screaming. Could not get sliding door to lock. It was likely once a nice place but it has not been maintained to the level to charge this amount. Baseboard warped etc. Would never stay again and will not recommend it.

The first room they gave us had a smell when we first entered. Upon inspection the garbage disposal was broken and had a foul smell. We contacted the front desk who sent the maintenance person who confirmed it was broken and emitted a foul smell. They apologized and provided us a different room which was completely remodeled. It was so nice, we wish we found this place for the two prior nights we stayed in Sedona!

One of our favorite spots. We were in the same cabin 11 years ago and it was exactly the same! Could use some updates (shower, TV’s etc) but overall we enjoyed our stay!

Restaurant is outstanding; chef is talented and inventive; all food we ordered was excellent Cons: Older, dated unit w non-working DVD or CD, broken frame for hot tub cover removal, no salt or pepper in the shakers Treacherous staircase to loft, making it only usable by children Handprints of some black substance smeared on wall on the deck Wi-Fi connection weak and unusable. NO maid service each day, despite $75 per person extra charges for each guest Junipine desk staff: Called 3 days ahead of arrival to complete payment in full, yet spent 30 minutes checking in while the staff tried to collect another payment because they didn’t know how to find it on their computer system (creating anxiety rather than an uneventful checkin) First set of keys we were provided were not for our unit, requiring us to return to the office Predatory pricing of water and snacks in office Staff was dismissive and impolite — when I checked out, neither of the staff present said ‘thank you’ or ‘how was your stay?’ but rather printed out a receipt and wordlessly handed it over. I would not stay at Junipine Resort again.

Many times we've stayed at Junipine, and without exception, we have a great time and the property is certainly part of our enjoyment. Having decks on every unit is part of the allure for us. The resort is mature but well maintained. We'll be back.

Nice quiet location. Front desk staff was friendly and attentive. Some may call it quaint but the unit itself could use a refresh. Not terrible or awful. Just dated. There was an empty hot tub outside with leaves in it and the sides torn off. Could use some decent pillows on the bed. Small improvements would help. Maybe clean the hard water build up around faucets and some glasses/cups by the bathroom sinks. Outdoor seating getting pretty old and couches well used. The master bedroom bed was comfortable.

When we stepped into our room the first thing I noticed was the white sock in the tree right out the sliding glass doors that go out to our balcony; both of our fireplaces did not have screens on them; the dishwasher had dishes in it and the bottom rack in the dishwasher was broken. We also paid extra to be able to enjoy the outdoor spa on the patio, but it had so much chlorine in it that it was not safe for us to use and there were beer bottle caps on the deck around the spa. We paid a lot to enjoy our 3 night anniversary weekend and it was definitely not worth it!! The property is beautiful but it seems that management is not on top of the cleanliness of the rooms...At least not ours :(

PROS: Easy parking, super quiet and relaxing, amazing Mountain View from balcony. CONS: Upon arrival the toilet was unflushed, so gross; Kitchen supplies were sparse and low quality; and The restaurant was a hot mess, even for an overpriced cocktail at the bar. HOWEVER, Oak Creek Canyon is gorgeous, easy drive to Sedona, such a beautiful location.

When we booked our stay at Junipine from the Expedia app we had absolutely no idea about the property. We just took a chance on it, and what a pleasant surprise! Absolutely beautiful area, very nice and helpful staff and Unit 36 that we stayed in was phenomenal! Way bigger than expected. Already planning a return trip this summer!

Nice unit with beautiful view. This is a condo rental community so each owner is responsible for the condition of the unit. The management is largely just a rental agent so they cannot address any issues with units. Ours needed repairs and was sparsely furnished and a bit worn. But the view over the creek onto the mountain was spectacular! And the fireplaces were wonderful when we got unexpected snow!
