It definitely is a nice vintage property and you can tell they went to a lot of work to update it. It was in a great place. It was clean but our room (16) had a horrible loud AC/heater. It was like being at the airport on the tarmac. My son’s room heater/Ac was not as loud. I told the manager so hopefully it will be looked into. Pillows were very hard, sheets were thin, the comforter was thin, and the bed was not comfortable but that is pretty subjective, I suppose. Not a great stay.

Charming comfortable stay!
Iron Horse was a lovely quaint stay in Cottonwood! We only did an overnight, but it was clean, comfortable, and just charming! Everything is easily in walking distance. Next time we come through Cottonwood, this will be our place!

This was a beautiful inn located on the Main Street of Old Town Cottonwood. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Comfortable beds. Check in was easy and staff was very nice.

Great spot!
Cute spot right in town. You can walk everywhere. Nice hot shower. We had a mini fridge and microwave. They offer complementary Starbucks self serve, hot chocolate and hot water for tea. Would definitely stay there again.

The bed was horrible. It sqeaked everytime you would move a little bit. We left one day early because of it and still paid. Such a disappointment.

Our email prior to checking in said that we had paid already, since we had made these arrangements months ago, we really didn’t remember if we did . When we went to check our email, the clerk at the hotel was very rude - saying that the email just said that because we held our room with our credit card and that she wasn’t charging us twice. I didn’t appreciate her tone. I think, first that the email should not have said paid, and maybe should say pending. The other issue I had was that someone tried to use a key to open my door while I was inside my room! I opened the door and they had already walked back down the stairs. I told the desk clerk and she brushed it off. I’m not sure if I would recommend this place.
