The buffet breakfast is amazing - you won't want to miss it. However, the shower was leaking and there was a constant loud plumbing sound near the toilet which disturbed our sleep. The hotel is close to the beach but the area does not have a lot of food options for those who aren't into the bar and pub scene. Staff was very helpful.

The room was well looked after, staff were lovely and caring -left a get well note on the bed when I was unwell and very thoughtful The corridor was quite noisy and building right outside the balcony was almost too much - could hear the very noisy people immediately above us Putting an older couple on the same floor as small children and large family groups made it unpleasant for 7 nights especially noisy at night and into the early hours

The staff at this hotel are great, polite, friendly and have great customer service skills. Could not fault any of them from reception to cleaners to dining staff. We loved the included balinese dress up and Lilak was great and accomodating. The breakfast has a range of asian and western foods.. a big enough spread including eggs cooked to your choice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I missed not having a hand towel. The coffee in room was limited, there should be enough for 2 coffees per person and likewise milk as well. 3 bottles of water a day was good. Good location close to great restaurants and beach and transport. Highly recommend

Renovations in progress which we weren’t notified about. Hammering, saws, metal grinders 😏 Had to pay as you bought stuff no going to your room number account which is really inconvenient. Asked for spoon and bowls and had to sign for them. Breakfast seems to be predominately targeted for Indians. We only went twice and it was free. Staff were nice

The Horison is ideally located close to many restaurants and shops. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and there is a convenience store just outside the hotel on the corner of the street. There are several good places to get a cheap massage on the same street as the hotel. The hotel has a great roof top terrace with sunbeds (towels provided) a spa pool and bar. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They take pride in their work and don't pass you without saying hello. The hotel has a nice restaurant where the food was good and reasonably priced. Rooms were spacious and clean. My room had good air conditioning, a fridge and serviced daily. I highly recommend this hotel.
