部屋に入った瞬間トイレの便座が外れているのに気が付いた。理由は分からないがチェックイン前に清掃した人が意図的にフロントに連絡していないと想像している。また古いホテルなので様々な所で匂いが全体的に臭く、古い施設の悪い典型のホテル。 チェックアウトの時にフロントで問題点を少し指摘したが、女性スタッフから全然悪びれない表情でただ言葉だけの謝罪をされ、とても気分が悪かった。

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Monterey Sendai. It has an old world charm, and the spa on the top floor is delightful. It is very close to the central train station and in a fantastic part of the city. Highly recommend the hotel- we would definitely stay there again.

Hotel and room were clean, very convenient to Sendai Station, the breakfast buffet offers many choices and well-curated. The best part is the onsen. What a wonderful way to soak and relax after a full day exploring Sendai and surrounding towns.

スタッフのサービスレベルが４ツ星ホテルとしては不満。①チェックイン時に予約があるにもかかわらず、システムで見つけるのに3分以上かかった。②クロークの荷物を見つけるのに、2分以上かかった。③宅急便の出荷を依頼したが、控えもらえなかった。④結婚式の礼服を宅急便で送り宅配便の会社からは、到着の連絡があったが、次の日にブライダル部門から未着との電話があり、再調査でやっと荷物が見つかった。
