Good location with easy access to nearby train and bus service. Major attractions like Gyeongbokgung Palace is within walking distance. Many dining and shopping options at insadong shopping district is also nearby which makes it more convenient. Super market and Convenient store beside hotel provide many necessity items. Hotel staffs are friendly and can speak english. Gym is a bit small and there is no swimming pool. Hotel price is also a bit high but based on location is expected.

Location perfect!
Absolutely the most central location to most things. As a first time Visitor, I highly recommend this properly. Restaurants, markets, shops, temples. All surrounding the property no more than a 1.5km walk. Everything you need and more within the area. Very safe with 24/7 convenience right by the entrance. Also cant get any safer then being next door to a giant police station building.

Perfect spot in Seoul to stay
Excellent stay. This was my 2nd stay in 1 years' time. I chose Amid because of its excellent location and closeness to street vendors, the Gyeongbokgung palace and striving city life. Very safe area across from Jongo province police station. Also, boasts an excellent breakfast! Will be staying again.

Overall this was a great stay for two. Clean rooms and extremely convenient location. Only slight downside was that the outlets were not charging well that for my phone despite using an adapter.

Location is good. Close different eating and shopping areas, and yet not too crowded. The place is clean and comfortable. Not the most modern top hotel, but good for the price and location. I will definitely stay here again

Hotel location was conveniently close to subway stations. Jong no station is a 4 min walk and lots of coffee and dining locations a few min walk. Coffee shop on premises was great especially if you don't want to go out for a coffee run. Insadong is just a few min down the street and there is a supermarket and convenience store next to the hotel. Centrepolis mall across the street has various dining options and a paris baguette is like a 2 min walk. Room was overly warm in late november and this was a real issue. Staff did provide fans but we still had to sleep with windows open to make the room temperature somewhat just tolerable. Also there are only two sets of washer and dryer maxhines so it can be tough waiting to use the machines. Short subway ride to Seoul Station from Jong no station to take the KTX. Unfortunately personally I found the room temperature issue caused poor sleep during our multi day stay.

Location is Excellent
This hotel is perfectly located within a 20 minute walking distance to each of three beautiful palaces. It is also just next to a pedestrian only shopping and restaurant area. Many good restaurants nearby. A grocery store also conveniently located right next door. Hotel was very clean and quiet. My prearranged (through bookings.com) airport transfer roundtrip cost $130 and worked perfectly.

This hotel is in the Seoul downtown with lots thing to see, like Buddhist shrine and the main King's residence. It is also the pickup point for many tours. The buffet starts at 7am which is inconvenient if you have to leave earlier.

Small property located right next to a convenience store. I usually stay at the Nine Tree Hotel in the same Insadong neighborhood but it was booked. I actually prefer the customer service at the AMID and the small cafe in the lobby.
