Very convenient location, walking distance to Shingate and Lotte department store, myeongdong shopping street and famous tower. Staffs are friendly and professional, I was offered upgrade during check in. The room is spacious even though the bathroom and shower room are small, the equipment is kind out of date. The entire decoration is classic French style. The hotel”s library at 7th floor is a gem must to see, I spend few hours after checkout and it is indeed relaxing in a busiest spot of Seoul.

Absolute LUXURY. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at L'Escape! Valet waiting to open your door the second you arrive as well as take your luggage out the car for you. The hotel smells lovely and has several restaurants, a tea salon, even a library. Every receptionist was so kind and friendly! The rooms were so ornate and gorgeous. Amazing location! Very much worth the stay! 10/10 recommend and would return!

This was an amazing place to stay. The decor and ambience of the hotel was beautiful. The room had everything you needed, was a good size, very well presented and quiet. The property was located perfectly to explore the area and in very close proximity to the rail station to explore Seoul. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in a hour early and check out a hour late without extra charge, which was really appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Good but not great

The hotel was good BUT not my style. It was too dark for me but one of the managers (Daniel Parks) was gracious enough to find me a lighter room. Also, there was limited outlets available to charge your devices. The breakfast was excellent but service does not start until 7am. We were doing a DMZ tour so had to leave the hotel at 6:35 without breakfast.

Another FANTASTIC choice while we stayed in Korea before our cruise. Staff was fantastic, very quiet and calm inside while room and decor were clean and spectacularly unique, a lot of attention to detail, and again… outstanding service. Location was super safe that we went for a walk outside at 1:30am and 5:30am (still jet lagged). Absolutely would book here again when we return to Korea with the kids.

I stayed at L'Escape Hotel for 6 nights and I had a great time. There was two outstanding people - Lukas at the front desk and the server at The Tea Salon (working on June 2 around 1500). I feel like these two individuals went above and beyond. Lukas helped me with a situation where the local convenience store across the street short changed me money (the owner refunded me the next day with no issues). I had to stay in one night to work and ordered in-room dining (Chicken Box) and it was so tasty. The server at the Tea Salon was very kind and packed up my food so I could check into my flight. There was only one individual at reception who just seemed annoyed. Perhaps things were all lost in translation - not sure. The hotel is across the street from the Hoehyeon Station and very close to the Namdaemun Market. A great location to be close to the action of Myeondong, but not in it.
