I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Something lacking was places to sit and wait in lobby. It lacked a sense of hospitality as a result . The breakfast buffet on floor 27 had great views and food was decent. They don't promote or tell you about the buffet. Lucky for me, there was a small promo in monitor in elevator.

We stayed here twice for a total of 7 nights. The service is excellent. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. They are a bit dated but that's the only real downside. The location of the hotel can't be beat. We would stay here again.

Great hotel for the location! It is right in the middle of Myeongdong and next to the subway stations and bus stops. Very tourist-friendly hotel and a great deal for our budget. This hotel was the perfect home base to see Seoul from, without being in the middle of the noisy nightlife and busy streets of Myeongdong. Highly recommend.

Three star hotel with a four star price tag

This hotel is NOT a four star hotel. It’s a very well located three star hotel. The room left a lot to be desired, the wallpaper (which I’ll include a photo of) was starting to bubble up, and the seams were noticeable. The room did not have very many amenities, and it was minimally decorated. The breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired. Items were frequently cold and very rarely replaced in a timely manner. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is awesome. We had a few items laundered, and the price was half of one nights stay in the hotel, which seemed a bit excessive. If you’re looking for frills, I’d skip this hotel. If you simply want a convenient location, this is the place for you.

I really liked this hotel. Spacious enough but I would give it a 4/5 because it was a bit noisy at night. Overall good walking distance and you can see Namsan Tower from here. Lots of tourists around. 11 min walk to LOTTE World Mall and Myeongdong Street for food and shopping!

We loved to stay at Lotte City Hotel. Very convenience, it is close to the majority of places we wanted to visit. The restaurant had delicious options as buffet in breakfast time. I really recommend to stay at this hotel. It is very affordable.

I don’t recommend

Hotel should never be rated as 4 star, because it’s 3 at best. Room was tiny. We were woken at 2.15am with water pipes or the air conditioning thumping & banging in our bathroom for about 5 minutes for no reason . Then I shared the shower with a huge cockroach this morning, which luckily the water pressure was good so he didn’t live very long after I hosed him down.
