Rooms smelt and bathroom not well designed

The room we were given smelt heavily of cigarette smoke and we requested to change to a different room but they were full and didn’t have any spare rooms till the next day. We changed rooms and it still smelt but a lot less. The shower has no screen so everything including the toilet gets all wet when having a shower. Breakfast is very basic with corn flakes and milk, white bread with butter and jam. Location is close to Seoul station and close to food. Accommodation was cheap and overall place was quite run down

Location of Guesthouse

Location is good with metro station nearby, a lot of eateries near Guesthouse, especially the brown fried chicken & a lot of convenient stalls. Walking distance to Myeongdong shopping areas, Namdaemun shopping areas, etc.

Nice hotel near to metro station

This hotel is near to metro station, shopping mall, restaurant and convenient store is just opposite of the hotel. The drawback is just they didn’t provide any drinking water so you have to buy it by yourself. Oversall satisfied.

Nice stay

The location is good, near the station. And it only takes around 10 mins to Myeongdong area! There is no lift( I was assigned on the 3rd floor) however, the staff Helped us with some luggages! Really nice! There was b’fast offered! Even it was only bread, cup noodle, cereal and hot drinks, but really appreciated with such price! Remember to wash the utensils after finished the b’fast, since it was a self-help kitchen! The room was clean and quite, can’t even heard the sound from the other rooms! Nice!

Budget price, great location.

Great location, close to myeongdong shopping area as well as namdaemun. Rooms were a bit small with wallpaper tear and a bit of mold in the bathroom... but it was awesome for the price! I can't complain. Free breakfast was good also. Did the job with milk, coffee, tea, ramen, toast, cereal. They were also very nice about complimentary late checkout.

The best thing about this accommodation is it's location in Seoul. Staying in this guesthouse will allow you to be near to a lot of establishments and business districts such as Myeongdong, Dondaemun and etc. The facilities are working properly during our stay and we din't have any problems whatsoever but the staff at the counter could have been more approachable.

very close to myeongdong shopping district. nearest subway line is less than 1 minute walk from the guesthouse. room was quite small, but it was comfortable. free daily breakfast was a plus point.

Strategic location

Close to Hoehyeon MRT Station with lift to reach concourse level (ticketing). Close to Myendong market. Close to Namdemun Market. Close to Hoehyeon and Myendong Underground shopping and close to Namsan Cablecar.

Quite disappointing

The location's good, very close to the station. However, no reception after 10pm. If you know you will check-in late, this place is not very ideal. The bed sheet & blanket are dirty.

Walking distance to Myeongdong

The location is very accessible as the guesthouse is right in the middle of Korea's tourist attractions and within walking distance to Myeongdong. They provided basic necessities and breakfast to start the day just fine.

Comfortable and decent, near train station

I was overall satisfied with my stay in New Sun Guesthouse. The staffs were helpful and kind. I would like to give a thumbs-up to a staff named Kibum - he was patient and accommodating. Besides that, the room was also clean and comfortable. Even though the bathroom is small, it has adequate facilities.
