I LOVE staying at the Ryse!! I’ve stayed at the Ryse 3 times now and it’s almost always my go-to whenever I visit Seoul. The staff are very professional and friendly, the rooms are nice & clean, and it is close to the train station and steps away from Hongdae, which imo is the best area to stay at (closest from airport, best late-night restaurants, though further from everything else but can train to Myeongdong, Seongsu, Gangnam easily). It is a little pricy, but for the same price point in Seoul, Ryse is the best

The team at RYSE were prompt with communication throughout our stay with a few things we experienced - not being sure whether the K-ETA (if you are reading this, PLEASE CHECK and save yourself the potential heartache!!!) would come on time at the airport - Katie was really nice and clear that I could check in a few days later if it came to it. Also, communicating with restaurants to ensure a lost shopping bag was found? Amazing! Room was comfy and amenities regularly replenished.

Spacious guest room. Hotel located within 3 mins walk to subway. Only drawback, they charge for shaver & toothbrushes in the room so beware. Many were caught off guard upon checking out.

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, great view out the window and excellent bathroom with all the mod cons. The man checking us in was very kind. We enjoyed the free face masks and special touches in the room including the cosy bathrobes. We went to Blue Bottle every day which was very handy for a morning coffee. Location was excellent, everything was on the doorstep from food to shopping. We would happily stay again in this beautiful hotel. The only improvement would be to provide an information booklet in the rooms for guests on the services provided.

Blue Bottle is at level 1. Very convenient. Staff’s friendliness is average. I didn’t see anyone going out of their way for us. Our room sleeps 4 and it was perfect. Bathroom is huge. The concept of merch was very creative. The building also houses street wear brands. It was cool. Check out Hongdaematgib (casual Korean dining) which is only 3 mins walk from the back door.

Hotel in Fantastic Location in Hongdae

Hotel is in a fantastic location…. Close to shops, restaurants and Train Station… would recommend it! Only slight disappointment was that I booked the room for 2 adults and 1 child (13yo) with breakfast and was told that breakfast was only for 2 adults and that my child had to pay extra

Very accessible and easy to get around. Bakeries and hongdae shopping street within walking distance. There is also a cafe at lvl 1 as well for easy coffee run.
