A remarkable resort in the middle of the National Park. The best location, comfortable rooms and great food. It's a no brainer for any Kings Canyon getaway.

Perfect spot in Sequoia Nat Park to get to all the spots for hiking and sightseeing. The restaurant was fast, easy and great quality. The rooms were spacious and convenient for two in individual beds. Highly recommend and looking forward to staying again.

Our stay was good overall, except the WiFi was out for one day and there was no cell service reception at all at this lodge. Another day there was a thunderstorm after which there was no power for half a day. The lodge itself is clean and provides good quality accommodation.

This was very convenient for our 2 day trip to Sequoia/King’s Canyon. For those like myself, who didn’t read the details: only some rooms have a/c, most have window fans and the rooms are in outbuildings away from the restaurant and check-in. Thankfully we made dinner reservations bc many other people did not, so plan accordingly. It was clean, spacious and very well located for park visits.

I loved the vioews of the mountains. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.my only complaint is they dont offer a eaay to ready hiking map.they only offer a driving map and a smaller map of 3-4 smaller trails.but they offer a free bus service to and from several popular attractions close by!

This was our first visit to Sequoia National Forest and we loved Wuksachi Lodge. It wasn’t our normal vacation but that’s what we were looking for. There is no pool, sauna, arcade, or beach. The rooms in the lodge were very clean and I thought the beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms are basic, but that only adds to the charm of the experience. If you visit in the summer, be aware that most of the rooms have no A/C but some have window units. It wasn’t an issue for us because the low at night was around 48 Fahrenheit in August. The Peaks restaurant was the only part of the lodge that I thought was just ok. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either and was pretty expensive. Everything else was great and you can’t beat the location. It’s about an hour drive on a road full of hairpin turns to get to the main park attractions once you enter the park. By staying in the park at Wuksachi, we only had to make that drive once to get in and once to go home.

Perfect location inside the national park. We had a very good dinner on-site at the lodge restaurant. Feels like a classic park lodge. Excellent service and comfortable rooms.

Better description of how to use the ramp

We arrived in the dark after dinner. I would be nice to have a Google map in the parking lot to direct you to your cabin. We were in the Sequoia, and we only found stairs which wasn't idea for carrying our luggage and cooler. Upon checking out in the daylight, we noticed there was a ramp that took you to the parking lot. Don't want to add more lighting to the area to ruin the night sky, but better directions on how to enter your establishment would be very helpful to those going to stay there and may be getting there in the dark
