We had the loft/suite with all the exposed rooms. It was fantastic. Awesome location, beautiful surroundings, comfy bed, good breakfast and fantastic hosts!
We absolutely loved our 2 nights here. We had a rental car and it was a quick drive into Reims. It was peaceful and serene. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back if we visit France again.
Enjoy a welcome glass of champagne while sitting under a majestic linden tree and enjoying a view of the surrounding vineyards. Lavish in the elegant room accommodations of a beautifully restored farmhouse. The only place to stay for your visit to Champagne!
Marie-Helene and Thierry were very welcoming. They were friendly and gave us some great recommendations on local eco conscious vineyards and restaurants.
Breakfasts were lovely and eggs were superb! We really recommend them.
The restoration of this old farm is exceptional, the room was immaculate and the welcome by the owners was personal and genuine. I felt totally at ease and the surroundings are simply fantastic, the breakfast was excellent, and communications beforehand were really helpful. Simply the most beautiful place i have ever stayed. 100% recommend to anyone.
This was a stunning stay in the French countryside. Our host was helpful and attentive. The room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Our breakfast in the morning overlooking the vineyard was perfect. We would definitely visit again.
lovely B&B in a quiet town between Epernay and Reims. the hosts were so lovely. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!
This was a "find"! Wonderful host, beautiful accommodations, great location to the Champagne Houses and Reims. Our room was on the first floor, absolutely beautiful with everything we needed. I highly recommend this B&B and hope to return!
Amazing property, serene, carefully renovated with charming references to the properties’ past heritage. The hosts Marie-Helene and Thierry are most welcoming. Highly recommended and hope to return soon.
Absolutely beautiful place in a gorgeous village in the middle of vineyards. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable and the property is absolutely beautiful. Highly highly recommend.
Where to start? The hosts and the setting really make this place special. Waking up and having breakfast surrounded by vineyards and having the owners coming over to have a chat and make sure everything is good is one of the reasons we enjoyed our stay this much. The room we stayed in was huge with a bath tub big enough for two and a bed more comfortable than I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping in.
The only down side is that it is a bit on the pricey side for us to reconsider. £30/£40 less a night and it would have been a regular stop on our travels to the south of France. This obviously depends on personal budgets but for us this was very much a treat and would really recommend to anyone looking for something special to stay here.
Amazing! For any visiting the "champagne" region in France, you should definitely stay here. There are 4 rooms including 3 in an renovated barn built in the early 1700s that are very nicely updated with modern features like walk in shower, free standing tub, room darkening shades, but still preserving the original oak beams, brick and other features. The hosts were extraordinarily friendly and helpful with recommendations/assistance with the nearby restaurant, including Le Grand Cerf (Michelin 1 star within 5 minutes) and attraction recommendations. We are already planning another trip back to the area and will plan the trip around getting to stay at L'Ecrin des Vignes.
Place is a gem. If you’re in the area you must stay here. The property and rooms are beautiful. The owners are great. If you’re going to champagne tastings you can easily Uber to them from there. We definitely want to go back and have highly recommended to all our family and friends.
The accommodation is impeccable, tastefully decorated, excellent bathroom and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was classicly French and done very well in lovely settings. Certainly worth the small extra in cost. Wholly recommend.
My fiancée and I did a tour in the Champagne region and stayed in a few different places - L'Ecrin des Vignes was hands down the best! The owners are incredibly nice and hospitable, we loved chatting with them and they even organized a tour of a small, family owned champagne house for us...the champagne was oh so good and we ended up buying three bottles! The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable, we even had a beautiful claw-foot bathtub. The grounds are beautiful (take a walk!) and the breakfast was the best we've ever had in the region. I could not recommend this place more. If there is a downside (which we didn't think this was) it is that the hotel has no restaurant and there aren't very many around, so you have to drive 10-20min to get to one...do make a reservation, especially if you're there on a weekend!
This is among the best places we (frequent travelers) have stayed. The hosts were wonderfully friendly and solicitous -- they really cared that we enjoy our time in their neighborhood. The premises are beautiful and the area interesting. Our grade is 10+.
