This property is the nicest in town currently. It's location can't be beat with downtown 1 block away and the seaside center 2 blocks away. And some rooms have great views of the sound.

The location is perfect. I would stay here again based on that alone. The hotel needs some updating, small bathroom/sink area. Good and helpful staff. You have to request housekeeping, which isn’t a big deal but no one told us that so we were confused when we didn’t have any service after the first few days of our stay.

The room was fairly clean, phone plug in on bedside lamp did not work and there was a hole in the window screen. Other than that the room was comfortable and the front desk staff were friendly.

The ocean view from the first floor opened to the street and park; not much of an ocean view for the price and there was a constant flow of tour busses right at window. The street cleaners, idling tour busses, and late night/ early returning drunkards made for loud distractions and interrupted sleep. The location is convenient to several lovely dining options for meals, as the breakfast option at the hotel was buffet only and $23 per person.
