Staff were very courteous and welcoming... unfortunately being a little out of season, the swimming pool was closed, as was the bar... breakfasts were plentiful. The rooms were comfortable but could do with a little more wall art to make it a bit more appealing. This was a more noticeable for the bathroom, more colour to brighten it up. Overall, the hotel is spacious and I'm sure during the season period very lively. Would recommend staying here, as the location is ideal for the beach and town.

We had a good stay! (4 nights)

On the whole defo 5*! Great location and views. Very friendly staff. Has Indoor swimming pool and we had Breakfast included. Has a bar / lounge area and a welcome feel. Will mention rooms and hotel are a bit dated and onsite parking but limited. But I don’t think they pretend to be a modern hotel.

Lovely holiday!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Very clean room, just needed to request extra pillows, which were provided and made sleeping much easier. Quiet room, wonderful sounds of seagulls in the morning. A lovely view of the sea through one window! So pleasant, and a great location!

Stayed here for a night booked online really late at night and was greeted at reception by a very pleasant and helpful young lad whose manners and customer service were second to none (very good), the hotel lobby, hallways and room is exceptionally clean to a high standard and the room was to a high standard. Will be coming back for a longer stay next time and would certainly recommend to friends and family or people in general 👍

We only stayed one night, which was all we would have managed on that particular bed. The hotel is in need of a makeover and believe it is under new management. It is clean and tidy though and the staff were great. The breakfast was very nice, cooked to order.

The Ocean View's strongest features is its location, high above the beach but close to the lift. The downside is that it primarily caters to tour groups, leaving the solo traveler a bit confused at times.
