Our room was clean and comfortable and we were really pleased with the walk in shower. The breakfast was wonderful, everything we could have asked for and the staff were all very helpful. We didnt use the bar.

Amazing Staff

We had a one night stay and it was very good from start to finish, staff were amazingly helpful and very welcoming nothing was no trouble...........the cleanliness of the room was excellent, but I found the bed uncomfortable 😣 it felt a bit lumpy............ Breakfast was lovely. On a whole we had an excellent stay and would definitely use again.

Overall, our stay was good. All the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped and clean. Hotel was well situated for walking to places we wanted to go to. Unable to book a car parking place but fortunately we found one on JustPark which was much cheaper anyway. As we were staying for 2 nights we were happy to use the same towels and hung them up (as requested by the sign in the room) rather than leaving them on the floor to be changed. They were all changed, so not very eco-friendly! We didn’t enjoy the breakfast very much. The bacon was fairly tasteless. There was no choice of eggs and the scrambled eggs weren’t nice - possibly powdered eggs were used? Bread was cheap. Potato things weren’t very good. Tea bags were weak and there was no option to have skimmed/semi-skimmed milk. Although there was plenty of other milks for cereal. It was quite busy when we went for breakfast. Some large tables were being used by single people or couples. It might be helpful if staff could seat people at appropriately sized tables during busy times? It was really convenient to have the bar to use when we got back late in the evening. Also an adequate food menu - nothing fancy, but that’s all you want really! The staff were lovely. I’m unsure about the charge, because I was charged £180 for booking but my bill from the hotel when we checked out was only £153. Overall, I would stay there again.
