Stayed here while in town for a game at Bramall Lane. Staff were friendly and helpful where they could be.
No gluten-free beer options, which was a bit disappointing (I know not many people will be gluten-free, but it’s something worth considering).
Check-in was a little slow when the place was busy. The price was good, but the “triple room” was tiny — barely space to swing a cat. I’ve stayed before and the room was definitely much bigger that time.
The hotel was clean, well located, and the downstairs lobby area is nice. Main downsides for me were the lack of beer options and the very small room — it really was that small.
Basic but clean and friendly. Outside reception looks a little bleak (street). But the bar/coffee shop area was well laid out and welcoming. Room was also basic but spotless as was the bathroom. Hot water pressure was poor though. Otherwise we couldn’t fault the place and would happily return. Friendly staff too.
My room was flooded at night when water dripped down from the ceiling. The hotel manager stated that they would refund me for the night but Expedia couldn't get a response from them to authorise the refund. The hotel didn't respond to my email either.
Cute reception area with pool table (5 pounds/30 mins). No parking/car stopping at front of hotel. So, need stop at the back, unload and walk 100m to front door.

A/C either didnt work, or didnt make any difference, so it was very hot and no opening windows.
Comfy bed
At check-in, my booked room turned out to be not available ("maintenance issues or something"). I had neither high expectations nor need tbh, and I wasn't particularly disabused. The low point came at around 2 am toilet call when I realised there'd been no toilet paper left in the room.
