lovely old school, with some of original fixtures and fittings still there, room just fine, although there was a issue with door passes. Staff friendly and helpful, i would stay again.

The TV in my room was terrible and there were a rubbish in the bin, the hotel stuffs were a bit rude and the cleaners opened my door whilst I was inside at 9:30 Am

The staff are fabulous. They are always welcoming and knowledgeable and solve any problems fast. There is a great partnership with the local car park with a good discounted rate. The rooms are a bit tired but comfortable and have good coffee, tea, etc. Rates are very competitive. The bar in the lobby is fun and friendly. There is a very diverse range of guests, which shows that the welcome works. I keep returning and have discovered many others do, too. I tried elsewhere, but this comes out top for me.

Well placed for city hall.
We stayed overnight whilst at a concert. The hotel was easy to find from the suggested q park carpark. Check in was quick & easy, the room was a little on the small side but ok. Right on the square with restaurants etc.

This is a lovely, comfortable hotel in a very lively area of Sheffield. We stayed on a Saturday night in September, and we found the area to be too loud and busy for our taste. If you like an exciting night life, this is the place for you. We requested and got a room on the side of the building away from the central square, so by the time we went to bed it was quiet enough. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Breakfast was delicious, too.

On arival my wife and i were given a room, but just before i opened the door to the room the receptionist ran up to me a said do go in i have given you the wrong room, they gave me another room which was like a small box room with disabled facilities for one as there was only one chair, very poor experience,

The hotel was clean and tidy, and provided super-convenient access to the city centre. The only negative was the lack of parking and there was no guarantee that I wouldn't get a parking ticket whilst checking-in.
