Fantastic stay

I recently stayed at Mercure with friends and kids, and we had a fantastic experience. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very comfortable, making our stay relaxing. The bar had a great selection of drinks and a lively atmosphere, perfect for unwinding in the evening. The spa was a highlight, offering excellent treatments and a truly calming ambiance. The kids especially loved the swimming pool, which was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with something for everyone—highly recommended!

Room great, shower not so much!

Decent stay, the room was spacious and clean, but the shower didn't have any warm water. The bath in the room gave very hot water, but not the shower!! We did report this to the reception person as we checked out, but FYI - room 424 did not have hot water in the shower!

Beautiful lobby and bar reception area.The rooms are showing there age though .Im guessing they haven’t been refurbished since the hotel opening in 2006.Still very clean and comfortable.Id argue this hotel is the best location possible in the city.Safe and vibrant location with beautiful surroundings.

Not recommended - unfriendly staff

Terrible hotel - poor customer service - arrived slightly early - asked if room ready - told quite firmly no and to go away and come back at check in time - no offer to store baggage or use other facilities - tired furnishings - breakfast mediocre - permeating smell of stale fried food throughout - attending conference - thin partitions with what sounded like a party going on in one area - organisers constantly having to ask staff to ‘turn the noise down’
