Room clean except that microwave dirty inside and freezer had carton of ice cream stuck inside. Comfortable and roomy but more expensive than similar hotels elsewhere, probably due to location and renovations. At first glance, room looked nicely updated, but there were several significant gaps between the flooring planks. I'd still stay here again.

We travel from alberta Canada to Oyo hotel yesterday Aug 9,2025 and no one in the front desk to answer there phone and we have to wait 15 mins in the front before someone to come in the front desk .

Serviceable-Barely

The motel is dated! The staff was working diligently to clean and update the rooms, but have a long way to go. They were friendly ands accommodating. The bat tub in our room was filthy, I wouldn’t bathe a dog in it without scrubbing it. The hotel is located directly across the street from a very busy commercial train depot with trains coming and going 24/7. The good news is, they didn’t use their horns at all. Shelby, at least this part is a typical western town, kinda old and run down. Over all I’d give this a 3.5 outta 5, mostly for the price. It’s a serviceable place to lay your head. But I’m retired army so I’m used to Spartan conditions, the wife-not so much!

It’s a very dated hotel. The towels were like sandpaper. The freezer in the fridge was caked with ice and dirty.
