Did not have an opportunity to eat at the buffet. Room was clean staff was great. My only issue was with the Hotels.com reservation. The website registered me for a “suite” with a king and I reserved two queens. The staff fixed it and were great but what a hassle for all of us.

There was fast food and two restaurants rights across street from hotel, and grocery store. There was a Sheetz, McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Chinese Restaurant and Italian Restaurant. Walgreens Pharmacy right next door.

No WIFI for the whole time!!!! I'm not glued to my phone every second of the day but being able to use my phone for videos if I can't watch TV would be nice. I cannot believe this was not a priority in this age of tech. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good, even the bed was pretty comfortable - like a firmer mattress. BUT the convenience of turning on the TV to get some AM news, weather etc. and some noise at night, FIX the WIFI!!!! The hotel was one of the most reasonably priced in Shepherdstown. Having a pharmacy, Food Lion, Italian and Chinese restaurants and a gas station close by was nice.

The room I was assigned would not open - myself and staff tried but door refused to open - Room 3316. I was transferred to Room 307, tv did not work, there was no hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. I was transferred to Room 100 - there was no hair dryer, no coffee pot in room but there were supplies to make coffee and tea in the room. housekeeping was notified to provide a hair dryer but they couldn't. Reason being , as per the staff, they didn't have any. This Quality Inn was a horrible experience.

the expedia agent mis-represented the location of the hotel. I chose not to stay there and am seeking a refund. It was a bad experience. The hotel could/would not help me. Disappointing in the extreme.
